Miguel Ortiz also served under Captain Marilyn Stark in seaQuests first tour. He is of Cuban descent and has a large family that he always thinks about and brings up in conversation. He speaks both English and Spanish fluently. Miguel controls the WHSKRS (Wireless Sea Knowledge Retrieval Sensors) and also has an extensive knowledge of Greek mythology, especially the stories that have to do with Atlantis. He's a happy-go-lucky guy and as Brody says "nothing can get him down."
