Tony Piccolo came aboard seaQuest before the second tour as part as a prison probation program. (He had been imprisoned for striking a senior officer). Despite trying to escape his first day on board, Tony knows that he has a second chance to do well aboard seaQuest. Tony was part of an experimental program that implanted him with gills that allow him to breathe underwater. He's mischeivious,but lovable, as well as a ladies' man (so he likes to think, anyway). Tony still spends most of his time in trouble, but as he says "the difference now is, I take responsibility for it."
