During seaQuests first tour, she would continually argue with Jonathan Ford about his soldiers being in the areas designated for the science staff. Kristin acts as a maternal figure to her crew, especially Lucas. She also has romantic feelings for Nathan Bridger, but before they can begin a relationship, she leaves seaQuest to explore other avenues.
